A HUGE SUCCESS!
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Charity Poker Tournament was a smashing success, raising over $500K in its first year! This money will help to build the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, which will be the most advanced brain trauma facility in the country. With over 450 guests, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Charity Poker Tournament has already been secured for next year and will be scheduled for Thursday, January 27, 2011 so make sure to mark your calendars now!
Poker Pros including Dennis Phillips, Victor Ramdin, Eric Buchman, Jonathan Little and Kevin Schaffel upped the ante for all of the poker participants. The winner, David Perlmutter, won a seat at the 2010" Most Prestigious Poker Tournament in the World" - which served as our Grand Prize!

The 4th Annual Matt's Promise Annual Benefit Concert was held at Chipriani Wall Street on May 14th, 2009. The evening featured Singer/Songwriter Gavin DeGraw. Our event hosted over 500 people, all of whom contributed to raising $57,250! This year, the Matthew Wiederkehr Leadership Award went to Amy Esralew this year for her expertise, talent and energy that she has given so freely to Matt’s Promise.

Kristin Ashburn, photojournalist and author of the newly released "I Am Because We Are." Guests enjoyed an intimate wine and cheese
reception at the SoHo art gallery, and many walked away from the event with exotic travel packages won in the live auction to benefit
Malawi Children's Mission.

MUSICIANS ON CALL 5TH ANNUAL BENEFIT CONCERT AND AUCTION
New Yorkers have a friend in James Taylor. The legendary singer hit the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square
on Feb. 24, 2009 for the 5th Annual Musicians On Call Benefit put on by Maverick Events.
The multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning artist performed his most famous songs
and the event was hosted by the Bacon Brothers.
Founded in 1999, Musicians On Call is a campaign that brings music straight to the bedside of patients in hospitals.
